| Newsletters Our newsletter, DOCKTALK, is
published normally on a monthly basis. In some months, there is so much
going on that two months may be combined in one issue, as occurred during August
and September of 2006. In other months, such as January, no issue may be
published because there were no events during the month.
In each issue, you will find
pictures and a description of the events, e.g., cruises and parties, that took
place during that month. You will also find a listing of birthdays and
anniversaries that will occur in the following month, e.g., in the event that
you might want to send someone a birthday card in advance of their birthday.
News items pertaining to the Club and its members are also presented. And,
finally, there might be an occasional word from our Commodore or the discussion
of a subject, issue or idea that is relevant to the membership.
Previous issues of DOCKTALK are
available on this website for your review. If you are unfamiliar with the
BBYC, they will give you a good idea of the scope of our activities and the
camaraderie that our members enjoy. The file for each issue is in the
popular PDF
format, which means that you can download each issue, view it, print it and
email it, regardless of the software that you have on your computer. Each
PDF file is roughly 1.0 to 2.0 MB in size, so depending on the speed of your
download connection, each issue may take a few minutes to download.
